I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Nice Ron. Jeeze, it's been a bit dark around here for taking pictures...I don't think this is being shown in quite the right...enough...light. Gotta comment on the landscraping painting too...I also think that it's gorgeous, as you'd expect, I think.
This reminds me of some of the weathered barns in NC that I've taken photos of while passing through. Great color and light!

I am entering a love affair with hot press Ron, so I can identify with what you are doing. Colours seem to flow together and marry to well.....and they seem more vibrant on hp. I can see the power of colour in this work.

Thanks, Win, its different but it is possible to get the colour intensity up with just reg cold press...
