I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

I love the positioning in this painting, and the strong sunlight reflection.
This one of the few times that I painted the photograph as is.
This is really good. Excellent contrast.
Thanks, Michelle.
I love this one. the difference where there are different doors and that type of stuff. Anyway, it's cool.
Thanks, N.N.
Nice effect on the sun spot. Solid construction and a joy to behold!
Thanks, W.K.
You can really feel the warm summer light on this one. The trees in the background seem to be rustling in the wind. I'd almost accuse you of placing the board there to catch that blue shadow. The sense of weight and dimension in this is strong.
The junkyard piece below this is quite different. It has more of a flat graphic quality but I like it equally. I like how you can work in two distinct ways.
Thanks,Tom.
