I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. Man that car could fit a jacuzzi. Don't know if it's watertight but that would be fun time. I liked those old cars with seats like a couch and room to play tennis. Nice painting Ron.

Reminds me of a really faded pair of blue jeans. Not literally but I guess it has that quality. Honestly, I'm not sure what I'm saying!
These big ol' cars rode great with the long wheelbase and wide stance. Put a big motor in 'em and listen to 'em purr. By the way, very nice painting. :o)

Oh to go back to the days when people weren't obsessed with making clown cars. I know, I know, fuel efficiency and all that, but it's hard to put a gas budget on class.
Hey Grimm, the shapes are fun to paint, the memories are fun but cars will kill us in the end- one way or another...
It's easy to imagine this car in its heyday. There's a lot of personality here.
When they come of the assembly line they are all the same, diff colours maybe, options plus or minus. After they have served their transportation purposes and settle in for the long rust they seem to me to be unique and art worthy...Thanks, Tom.
