I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. It's pretty bright grass, but still looks good. What catches my eye is the green on the boat. I love it!

I like it! I like the dark background and the bright foreground with the old heap standing (or laying) bewteen them. Its almost like a metaphore for my life right now - (I'm weary and feel like an old heap...)

Ron, I'm really liking your new boat pieces. This one seems a bit angry compared to the previous, more peaceful, scene.
I hope that your show goes well. In my experience these things add up over time but sometimes it really feels like you're pushing a giant stone uphill only to see it roll back down.
