I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Gee, I'm the first to get here, although it's been awhile. This is a lovely treatment for a quick sketch. No time to vote, Ron. But I think the quality of the photography is variable, some were taken under glass I think...might effect the electorial outcome?
Thanks, Clive, I fixed it.
I like it. I think its positioning makes it look like its flying down a road somewhere.
Great, its flying down a road somewhere, now I gotta change the title. Come on, I'm a little bit amusing aren't I? I think I'm hilarious, how come nobody else does?
Thanks for sending the catalogue it just got here. Will email.
Cara, I'm going out to the garden right now to take pictures of the irises, will post shortly.
Old truck flying nowhere... down the road. That's just damn poetry it is! Call up Milforne.. Cool departure and quite the eye catcher. Lots of movement and color... a real bill pleaser.
Thanks, W.K., I would like to do more of this kind of playing- so I think I will.
Cool. Kind of looks like a marker rendering.
Thanks, Michelle, I often think and it hurts, sorry, that if I could just let'er rip that I might develop into a not bad painter.
It seems like you caught it in some scratchy motion.
Thanks, Grim, I caught it in my imagination in the mass fakery lobe, however I may have been scratching my head at the time.
looks free :)
Released from the surly bonds of this rusted mortal coil?
Nice one, Ron!! I like the different perspective..makes me wonder what the back of the truck looks like.
Thanks, Holly, did you vote?
Flyin, flippin truck it is. Awesome, sort of like me flying down the road. Like the streaks.
Thanks, Michele- have fun!
