Purple Murple

This dream like creature is far too florid, but the shape is a place to play. Blow me Up!

Great painting, nice title too. The headlights on either side of the picture are a nice touch. Olde Favourite is one of my favorites. It looks real nice popped up (I mean blowed up) big. I like it when you use the big areas of white. Hey, what's with the British spelling?

Even in the junkyard, it looks streamlined.

Thanks Tom, I punched the wrong key on old got an extra "e" then figured what the hey. The old spelling of old seemed appropriate plus I wondered who would notice.

Grimm, I'm linking you up.

Back after an unexpected absence and I missed visiting daily very much. This is a nice painting to come back to - love the highlights - (if old paint can have highlights)but love them anyway.

Thanks, Cara, yes to highlights.

Me like!!! Purple is swell.

Thanks, Michelle, I'm partial to purple- which is a little bit of trouble to mix with wawa colours unless you know the right combinations.

Evidently you know the right colors to mix for this wonderful purple. This car reminds me of one owned by a friend who died suddenly last year. He would like the painting very much. I like it, too.

Thank you, P.A.G.M.

This is a painting you call having wawa colors. Is that like having a frufru dog? of which I've had a few. I call it downright Spiritual.

Thanks, Michele, wawa colours is goofy speak for watercolours. But I like the fru fru comparison.

Yep, it can be tricky to get a nice purple. Windsor Blue (red shade) and Permanent Rose make a pretty nice one.

Good'un Ron. Purple is royale.
