The Industrial Park

The conceit of this production is that people will live anywhere they can park and recreate as opportunity affords. Full sheet on the back of something or other. Bink link for bigger.

Hey Ron! This looks good. I especially like the bike and the tractor. Is this a commission piece?

Ron Morrison said...

No Michelle not a commish, just looked at some disparate pics and the exercise was to combine them. Thanks.

The Evolution of the Camper.
Very cool! When all the snow melts, and the fields are dry, I'm going to get out and take some pictures of our car graveyards for ya. We have lots of stuff that I think you'd love!
Love the bike!

Ron - This piece is fantastic!
You really are a master at your craft. The campers are great. Couldn't tell too much about the bike - what is it?

Ron Morrison said...

Thanks Tracy, that would be fantastic.

I see you have some new additions to your collection. Great color on the trucks and the building, as well as the grasses. Nice work!

Ron Morrison said...

Thanks Joan, yes I picked some things that didn't go together and tried to make a painting.

HONDA! No wonder it ended up in the junk yard...ha ha!

Ron Morrison said...

Thanks Clive, what area?

that old homemade topper/camper is priceless, Ron. love it. the building looks exactly like our old farmers Co-op that used to be down by Ferry Ave. beach. brings back memories....

Ron Morrison said...

Thanks Billie, the challenge was to combine unrelated things into a pic.

The little bike's trying to piss with the big boys!
Ha, it looks like someone set up a ramp on the right truck for a steep jump!

Ron Morrison said...

Yes Grimm, once again you've nailed it!

I think you have excelled on this one Ron. All the forms hang together - in a bold fashion. Horizontal frame works very well for the story and colors to unfold.

Ron Morrison said...

Thanks W.K., they seem to be getting more realistic and less whimsical and less fun?

Just love that old building Ron. Something very special about it. I remember seeing homemade campers like those in the seventies eh?

Another beauty!!
