I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

the people here really don't want ot be bugged...no peddlers, not for sale . :p
NN, they never want to be bugged thats why they never sold the cars, they don't want to have to deal with anybody. They don't like strangers they don't like anybody. They'd rather keep'em and let'em sit there than give anybody the satisfaction of buying them.
I love the Black & White mode your in! The colors are beautiful as well. Always fun paintings.
Thanks Madison, more like the mode the computer is in...haw!
This looks great both ways! I love the old gas station with the cars. Super!!
Thanks Joan, just plaaaying.
I don't need to ask anyone - I know a painting when I see one. This is wonderful - I love both!
Thanks Cara, sometimes I have to amuse myself.
I like the whimsical style of this one. Kind of cartoon-y.
Nice counterpoint between the sepia and color version. Cool to see the values of the colors in the monochrome. Looks like you had some fun getting this to the finish.
Thanks Michelle, you're right its kinda cartoonish and the cars look way too good, but I have to fish around for stuff to post. There's another version further back thats better. But on the other hand I thought it was harmless fun.
Thanks W.K., it is fun to see how they read in black and white.
