I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Just love your work Ron, you are my favorite artist! I'm sensing you may be a little bored?
Thanks Birdie, what was your first clue?
Ron, I wouldn't have thought about this truck being under water but now that you put the suggestion there - you're right. Doesn't matter - underwater or on dry ground I still love it.
Thats good cuz you're getting one in the mail.
Thank you ,thank you, thank you!
Great job on this! Now that you mention it, the background trees look like they're underwater, but that's fine with me.
I really like your use of color!!

Are you sure it isn't underwater? Looks like a millstone loaded onto the back for anchorage purposes. The lights are wonderful!
Thanks Joan, I did a coupla faux underwater productions, musta been too much wet in wet.
Thanks Ruth, Islandpal, the colour thing on the wetcan is interesting, half hate my colours and half like'em.
Thanks B.J. I'm getting a sinking feeling.
Good one ron. The greens are painted with great variety and intensity. The underwater feel is unique and adds a bit of mystery.
Thanks W.K.-send you five bucks if you rescue me on the W/C. Okay ten.
It does look like it's underwater. Cool.
Thanks Michelle, I did a couple that looked submerged, the other was a boat...sunken wrecks
