I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Ron - this one is really nice. Love the wide open feeling of the landscape and, of course, the colors on the car.
Fits right in with the terrain. Is that a typical landscape for your area?
I like the ground work in this one. Plus how can you not love a purple car?
These cars just have character!
Thanks Michelle, I like wide open spaces.
Thanks W.K., the interior of B.C. is like this, an extension of Washington Okanagan.
Thanks N.N. character is the thing!
Oh...I like the colors in this one. Great!
Thanks Madison, this one has a different feel to it, its what the interior of B.C. looks like.
I noticed some old rusty tractors yesterday, along a heavily traveled main route into my town. I'm gonna head over and paint them.
Love your work.
Good painting! Thanks.
I love the purple color of the car, and the wide open landscape with it. Super place for this car!
Thanks Joan, sometimes you just have to use the perpul, it calls out, desperate for attention.
This colors are intoxicating..trust me, I know intoxicating...
Thanks Cara.
Love the colors you used - the blues and purples next to the greens are beautiful.
Thanks Brendy, its fun to experiment with different colour combos.
