I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

You know what I love the most ? The smash on the windshield.
Windows rock... another great for the collection.
This is wonderful, the way it looks hidden in the shadows of the grass with the sun light just hitting it right. The texture on the windshield says it all. Your a fantastic artist with a unique subject. I look forward to seeing your new pieces daily.
looks very cool and relaxing....as long as it doesn't rain :p
Thanks Cara, Yes I like the sophisticated window effect achieved by taking a picture while the paint was still wet and the flash reflected. Ha ha
Thanks W.K. yes the window effect was enhanced by technology, see above.
Thanks N.N. its used to rain, its sitting in the rain forest in real life.
Thanks Madison, I look forward to seeing Mom in her uniform. With her bike.
Madison's mom was a Harley rider, "Wall of Death" rider, which impresses the hell outa me.
Nope, haven't seen this one yet. It's nice. Almost looks like there's a little swarm of gnats off to the side of the car.
I was trying to make the painting look more "gnats-ural".
I love the texture you have in the windshield and in spots on the body of the car. Nice!!
Thanks Joan, sometimes I like to do them grittier like this one.
